Be aware

Was surprised by how similar (nearly identical) it is to the original tesla roofbars. The more I was surprised that it ended up cracking my roof glass. Just got it replaced yesterday for almost $1800... not worth it! Just pay the $500 and have Tesla install it. That way if something happens you'll have warranty... you live and learn.

The rear feet have an extended portion that don’t allow them to seat down in the gutter making them completely unstable. The front feet are flush. No clue why there fabricated this way but renders the entire rack completely useless. Returned same day.

Had it for about a year, had a couple issues due to frequent use and seller was very quick to help and provide replacement parts free. Plastic cover flew out and one of the screws wore off, both were reported and replacement parts were received within a week. Screws were replaced all together with new parts even though only two showed that were stripped. Two plastic trims fell off and i received two full replacements for all 4 plastic covers in case the rest fell off

I was very optimistic about this product and didn’t think there would be a problem installing but i was wrong and every other low rating review was right. Inconsistency with manufacturing. Bolts not long enough for the front rack. Unable to install and use for my trip. You get what you pay for. There is another review here that required the guy to make another trip to his local hardware store and modify the rack for fitting. Well, that sucks. You would hope that by purchasing this product no additional parts or trips to the store would be necessary. After reaching out to the seller he was kind enough to send me another hardware package however that didn’t fix the initial problem. Bolts too short for model y front rack. Now I’m stuck with a product I can’t return and won’t fit my car.
